The Braje family has been producing top-quality wines and traditional Croatian food for over 12 years, building a reputation for their dedication to authentic rural experiences. Robert Braje and his wife Sanda turned their estate into a haven for wine and food enthusiasts, combining their passion for viticulture with sustainable farming. Their journey began by restoring old vineyards and expanding into hospitality, offering a unique blend of wine tastings and farm-to-table cuisine. Today, their Pet Nat sparkling wines and rare varieties, such as the Vetlinac crveni, set them apart in the Plešivica region.
The Braje family vineyards span 3 hectares with around 14,500 vines, distributed across seven locations at an elevation of 200 to 250 meters. Located just 500 meters from the estate, the vineyards are home to a variety of grapes, including both classic and unique varietals. As the sole producers of Vetlinac crveni on Plešivica, the Braje family honors tradition while embracing modern winemaking techniques. The surrounding land, once home to vineyards owned by Count Erdödy, adds a touch of history to their commitment to crafting exceptional wines.
