The Story

The Ivančić family has been cultivating vines for generations, with a written record of permission from Count Erdödy in 1773 for vineyard planting. Griffin Winery was among the first in Croatia to introduce cryomaceration technology, which enhances the floral and fruity aromas of their wines and sparkling wines. Krešimir Ivančić’s perfectionism, combined with modern technology and Plešivica’s unique terroir, has made the winery a standout in producing distinctive and character-rich wines, recognized internationally.

Vineyard

The Griffin vineyards are situated on the highest points of Plešivica, at over 400 meters above sea level, benefiting from ideal sun exposure. The southern orientation of the vineyards allows for the production of exceptional quality grapes.
